Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freeman kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Its goin down. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Jack Thompson enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Thompson fails with a takedown attempt.
Thompson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Freeman sprawls well initially but Thompson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Thompson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Freeman does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Thompson scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Thompson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Freeman with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Thompson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Freeman is just riding it out for now. Thompson eventually gives up the hold.

Thompson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Freeman was covering up waiting for the punch and Thompson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
