Doe kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lux Aeterna. John Doe has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fauatea misses with a head kick.
Doe thows a body shot but no joy.

and Fauatea counters with a good, hard body kick but Doe shrugs it off.

and Fauatea counters with a nice uppercut.
Fauatea scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Fauatea scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Doe is looking to slow Fauatea down with leg kicks.
Fauatea takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Doe throws a leg kick which misses Fauatea 's front leg but catches the back leg as Fauatea tries to avoid it.
Doe misses with a combination
letting Fauatea counter with a right hand.
Fauatea throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Fauatea defending well as Doe loads up on a big left hand.
John Doe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fauatea takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
A low kick from Doe is predictable there
and Fauatea counters with a head kick that drops Doe to the mat! Doe scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Doe throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

enabling Fauatea to counter with a crisp jab.

and Fauatea counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
