Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Barsanti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barsanti kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bawitdaba. The key to victory for Josh Barsanti has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Barsanti! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Bob! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bob shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Bob with the ground and pound from mount. Bob punching from mount but Barsanti doing a good job of avoiding damage. Poor strikes thrown by Bob there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Bob unloading with bombs! Bob misses with a head shot. Bob looking to ground and pound but Barsanti is blocking nicely. Bob thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
BOOM! Bob connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bob misses with a head shot. Bob thowing shots but they're missing. Bob looking to ground and pound but Barsanti is blocking nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bob lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Barsanti is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bob cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bob raining down shots from the mount! Bob postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Barsanti looks a forlorn figure.
This has been an exciting period of action! Bob working Barsanti over with strikes here. Poor strikes thrown by Bob there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Bob misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Barsanti knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bob on the ground. Bob throwing strikes here but Barsanti is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Bob sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Bob has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Barsanti's face.

Barsanti is trying to stand. Barsanti taking shots to the head. Bob raining down shots from the mount! Bob throws a sloppy strike and Barsanti uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Barsanti has ended up in Bob's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bob controlling the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Barsanti is looking to stand up but Bob won't let him. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bob has his foot on Barsanti's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Barsanti works his way back into a safe position though. Barsanti throwing strikes but missing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Billy Bob dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Bob thows a body shot but no joy. Barsanti looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Barsanti swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Barsanti scores with a nice right hand.
It looks like Billy Bob has been cut. Bob scores a takedown into full mount! Bob looking to finish Barsanti with some ground and pound. This is bad for Barsanti! Barsanti squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Barsanti avoids a strike by Bob and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Bob's guard! Fantastic escape!

That's one minute gone in the round. Bob striking off his back but it's not causing Barsanti any problems. Barsanti looking to sit in guard and control but Bob gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Bob loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Bob working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Bob lands a couple of digs. Barsanti working a defensive guard here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Bob throws a strike but Barsanti rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Barsanti wanted to stand there but Bob had control of the position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bob is on top in guard.
Barsanti is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Bob keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Barsanti's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bob throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Bob postures up in Barsanti's guard and throws a big left but Barsanti blocks it. Bob throws and elbow that misses. Barsanti uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bob's guard. Nice move by Barsanti! Bob has a closed guard, preventing Barsanti from standing up. Bob trying to control the position here. Barsanti would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bob is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Bob not landing any meaningful shots this time. Bob thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Barsanti is trying to stand.
Bob thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Barsanti's head. Bob looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Barsanti with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Billy Bob showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Billy Bob's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Bob throws a strike but Barsanti rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Bob has a closed guard, preventing Barsanti from standing up. Barsanti wants to stand and escape but instead Bob has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Bob stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Barsanti swivels though and keeps the full guard. Barsanti avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Barsanti on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Barsanti tries to get out of the position. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bob gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Barsanti misses with a jab to the body
and Bob counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Barsanti! Bob throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bob throws a jab but it's blocked by Barsanti. A shot to the body from Bob misses and Barsanti connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Billy Bob is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Bob throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
And that's the end of the fight! Billy Bob comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Bob winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
