The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson pushes Camozzi up against the cage in a clinch.
Thompson lands a nice uppercut.

Camozzi gets through Thompson's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Thompson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Thompson clinches up with Camozzi and pushes him back against the cage.
Thompson lands a good knee to the midsection. Camozzi won't want to take too many of those.

Still in the clinch, Thompson scores with a nice short uppercut.
Thompson throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Camozzis head.
Thompson is trying to trip Camozzi. He has hold of a leg but Camozzi is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Thompson persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Thompson distracts Camozzi with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Thompson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Thompson is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Camozzi looks calm but he's in trouble here. Thompson gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Camozzi is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Thompson lets go of the hold and Camozzi can pop his arm back in it's socket.
