The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nekrofil tries to bum rush Sferis with a series of wild strikes but Sferis uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Sferis closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Nekrofil is looking to break free of the clinch but Sferis has double underhooks. Nekrofil is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Sferis misses with a hook to the ribs.
Sferis jumps guard and drags Nekrofil to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Sferis looking for a sweep. Not yet Sferis, not yet. Sferis wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nekrofil trying to control but Sferis is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nekrofil preventing the sweep.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Sferis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Sferis instigates a clinch. Nekrofil throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Sferis blocks it with crossed arms.

Nekrofil prevents Sferis from getting back to his feet. Nekrofil trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Nekrofil trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Sferis manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Nekrofil wants to stand up but Sferis is controlling him. Nekrofil controls Sferis momentarily but Sferis frees himself. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Sferis wants to pass the guard but Nekrofil is keeping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sferis stands up and waves to Nekrofil to follow him. Nekrofil closes the distance but Sferis moves to the side so Sferis counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Sferis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nekrofil swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sferis looks gassed! Nekrofil wants to get back to his feet but Sferis is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Sferis passes Nekrofil's left leg - he's now in half guard. Sferis is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robert Sferis dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Nekrofil darts in trying to clinch and Sferis counters by moving into the clinch. Nekrofil is trying to break the clinch but Sferis has him pressed against the cage. Sferis jumps guard and drags Nekrofil to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Nekrofil loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nekrofil is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Sferis. Sferis is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nekrofil tries to get to his feet but Sferis is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Nekrofil in his guard. Sferis utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Nekrofil trying to control the position from guard on top but Sferis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Nekrofil trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Nekrofil throws a strike but Sferis rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Nekrofil is looking to stand up but Sferis isn't so interested in that idea. Nekrofil trying to keep a closed guard but Sferis is proving a slippery customer.
Sferis won't allow Nekrofil to get back to his feet.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Nekrofil closes the distance looking to clinch and Sferis counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Nekrofil wants to get back to his feet but Sferis is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sferis in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Nekrofil is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Sferis scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Nekrofil is trying to stand up here but Sferis is controlling him well. Sferis is working for a kimura but Nekrofil is defending it quite comfortably.

Robert Sferis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Nekrofil tries to kick Sferis off but Sferis keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Robert Sferis has got the better of the ground game so far. Nekrofil has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sferis is working away from the top position though.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nekrofil closes the distance looking to clinch and Sferis counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Sferis. Sferis successfully pulls guard.
Nekrofil has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Nekrofil is looking to stand up but Sferis won't let him. Sferis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nekrofil doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nekrofil manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Nekrofil postures up in Sferis's guard and throws a big left but Sferis blocks it.

Nekrofil wants to get back to his feet but Sferis is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Sferis slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Nekrofil is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Janusz Nekrofil has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Nekrofil throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
And that's the end of the fight! Robert Sferis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Sferis winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
