The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sinistro doesn't manage to clinch there - Rancatoco circles away.
Sinistro shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rancatoco but Rancatoco pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Rancatoco shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sinistro manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Sinistro escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rancatoco gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rancatoco has gone for a leg lock! Sinistro slips out almost immediately though and dives into Rancatoco's guard.

Rancatoco has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sinistro can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Rancatoco drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Sinistro dives on top into guard.

Sinistro got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rancatoco has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sinistro has managed to get both his arms back between Rancatoco's legs - danger averted.

Sinistro drops back looking for a leg! Rancatoco is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rancatoco manages to kick Sinistro off! Sinistro jumps back into Rancatoco's guard.

Sinistro gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Rancatoco to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Rancatoco sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sinistro's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sinistro fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rancatoco avoids it really well and circles away.
Rancatoco closes the distance and clinches up with Sinistro, looking for a takedown. Rancatoco pushes Sinistro against the cage but Sinistro circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Rancatoco has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Sinistro defend it? Rancatoco steps over the head and cranks it - Sinistro is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Rancatoco!
