The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Dean Styles and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arifi misses with the combination.
wilson goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
wilson instigates a clinch.
Arifi wants to break free but wilson has control.
Arifi wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Arifi wants to get back to striking at distance but wilson won't allow it.
wilson drags the fight down to the ground.
Arifi is fighting to break wilson's control of his arms but wilson is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
wilson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Arifi on the ground.
Arifi tries to stand but wilson is controlling from the bottom.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as wilson holds on and takes a little breather.
wilson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
wilson wants to sweep here but Arifi controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
wilson is pulling down on Arifi's head to control his posture.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of matt wilson.
Arifi throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Arifi looks gassed!
Arifi misses with the combination.
wilson lands a head kick. Arifi smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Arifi swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
wilson moves into range and clinches up with Arifi.
wilson turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and wilson manages to end up in side control.
wilson tries for a kimura but Arifi is defending well.
wilson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Arifi is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Arifi being controlled for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Arifi wants to control but wilson postures up.
wilson has hold of Arifi's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Arifi tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - wilson cranks the arm and Arifi screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Arifi, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
