Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yakko Warner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Yakko Warner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jimmy Dean! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Warner tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dean swats him away and circles back towards the center. Warner forces Dean back against the ropes and clinches. Warner crunches a lovely knee into Dean's ribcage. Warner lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Dean working some nice short punches in the clinch. A frustrated look appears on Dean's face as he tries to break the clinch. Warner prevents Dean from breaking the clinch. Warner jumps guard and drags Dean to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Dean got a little sloppy there for a moment and Warner has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dean has managed to get both his arms back between Warner's legs - danger averted. Warner is trying to keep Dean in close.
Dean thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Warner had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dean defends it easily. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Dean got a little sloppy there for a moment and Warner has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dean has managed to get both his arms back between Warner's legs - danger averted. Warner is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dean is aware though and is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dean drops back looking for a leg! Warner is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Warner manages to kick Dean off! Dean jumps back into Warner's guard. Dean drops back, looking for a kneebar! Warner looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Warner looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Warner! Warner fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Warner is chipping away with strikes.
Dean is looking for a sweep. Warner in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Warner lands a few punches from side control. Dean tries to escape but Warner is in control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Warner working the ground and pound. Warner trying to control the position but Dean is working away. Warner works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Warner wants to control but Dean is keeping him busy. Warner thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Dean tries to get back to half guard but can't. Warner scoring with punches from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Warner is trying to ground and pound but Dean uses the momentary lack of control by Warner to regain half guard. Warner controlling the action here. Dean tries to kick Warner off but Warner keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Warner is taking a breather. Dean says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Dean is trying to control but can't.
Dean is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Warner jumps into side control! Warner is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Dean's shoulder. That is not cool.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Dean is trying to get back to half guard. Dean is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Warner swings around for an armbar but Dean sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Warner's guard. Dean avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Warner is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Warner is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Dean throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Dean missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yakko Warner dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Warner fails with the takedown. Warner tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dean swats him away and circles back towards the center. Horrible takedown by Warner or perhaps it was just good defense by Dean which made him look bad. Warner tries to close the distance and clinch but Dean swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Warner throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Dean wants to clinch up but Warner keeps it at a distance. Warner tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Dean paws at him with a jab and circles away. Dean defending well as Warner loads up on a big left hand. Warner fails with an attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Warner takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Dean tries to clinch up. Warner displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dean. Dean circles away from the clinch attempt and Dean counters with a nice uppercut. Yakko Warner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Warner throws a front kick aimed at Dean's knee but Dean avoids it well. Warner clinches. Warner looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yakko Warner. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dean breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nice cross by Dean. Dean cracks Warner with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Dean scores with a nice right hand.
Dean looks to throw the jab but Warner is out of range. Warner closes the distance looking to clinch and Dean counters with a stiff right hand. Warner misses with a looping left. A head kick by Warner misses and Dean counters with a three punch combo that has Warner backing up. Warner nods at Dean to acknowledge the strikes. Decent striking displayed by Dean there. Warner has his takedown stuffed and Dean connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dean steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Warner. Warner pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Warner shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Dean counters with a right hand to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Dean clinches. Warner keeps control of Dean as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Warner has Dean pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Dean manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Warner tries to land a knee to the head but Dean blocks with his arms.
Dean pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Dean gets a takedown into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Warner is defending against the submission attempts here by Dean.
Dean is looking for a kimura but Warner is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dean to get the leverage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dean is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Warner defends it well. Warner looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Warner is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dean pulls his head out easily. Dean thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Dean missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Warner tries to kick Dean off but Dean keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Warner throws a nice head kick!

Warner wants to clinch but Dean slips to the side and Dean connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Dean swings for the body but Warner moves out of range.
Warner tries to clinch enabling Dean to counter with a crisp jab. Dean moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Warner tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Dean counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Warner scores with a hook. Warner darts in trying to clinch and Dean counters with a series of strikes. Warner will be more careful next time no doubt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy Dean showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Warner throws a lazy right hand but Dean sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Warner tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Dean paws at him with a jab and circles away. Warner looks to clinch letting Dean counter with a right hand. Dean ducks under a wild hook from Warner. Dean has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Warner throws a lazy head kick and Dean counters with a takedown into side control. Warner tries to get back to half guard but can't. Dean is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Warner knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Dean wants to control but Warner is keeping him busy.

Warner actively working from the bottom here. Warner looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Dean escapes and gets back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Dean feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Warner looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Dean pushes down on Warner's leg and manages to get into half guard. Warner looking for submissions off his back. Warner is pressing down on Dean's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Dean wants to control from the top but Warner keeps moving. Warner throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Warner escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dean gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Dean is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Warner is working an open guard so Dean takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Dean might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Warner throws a head kick that misses letting Dean counter with a right hand. Warner tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Dean counters with a lovely straight right hand! Dean circles away from the clinch attempt and Dean connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Warner is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Dean's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems. Warner tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Warner takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Warner tries to clinch but fails miserably so Dean counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Warner is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
And that's the end of the fight! Jimmy Dean comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Dean has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
