Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacLachlan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Chiba fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but MacLachlan avoids it really well and circles away.
MacLachlan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chiba moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Chiba tries to keep at a distance but MacLachlan has taken the fight into the clinch.
MacLachlan has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Chiba regains guard immediately.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
MacLachlan throws and elbow that misses. Chiba uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in MacLachlan's guard. Nice move by Chiba!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if MacLachlan can do anything to dispel that myth.
Chiba trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Chiba is pushing down on MacLachlan's leg trying to pass to half guard. MacLachlan is fighting to maintain full guard but Chiba has managed to sneak the leg through.
Chiba is looking for a kimura but MacLachlan is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Chiba to get the leverage.
Chiba will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

MacLachlan has left one of his arms exposed and Chiba doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. MacLachlan screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
