Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tito Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carter Pewterschmidt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ortiz comes to the cage accompanied by Break Stuff. Pewterschmidt is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: 7 Words. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tito Ortiz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carter Pewterschmidt! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch lands to the side of Ortiz 's head but he takes it in his stride. Pewterschmidt connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Pewterschmidt thows a left - swing and a miss! Pewterschmidt lands with a shot to the body. Pewterschmidt uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ortiz.
Ortiz slips under a jab. Ortiz will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Pewterschmidt tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ortiz sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pewterschmidt somewhat. Pewterschmidt with a body punch. A glancing blow. Ortiz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pewterschmidt paws at him with a jab and circles away. Pewterschmidt listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Pewterschmidt leaves Ortiz with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A telegraphed right hand from Pewterschmidt misses the target. Pewterschmidt throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Pewterschmidt throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Ortiz checks a leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pewterschmidt rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ortiz moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Pewterschmidt looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Ortiz trying to control from the bottom.
Pewterschmidt thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Ortiz to regain full guard. Pewterschmidt wants to pass the guard but Ortiz is keeping the position. Ortiz is trying to control the position but Pewterschmidt postures up. Pewterschmidt trying to control but Ortiz is working from the bottom. Ortiz working for a triangle but Pewterschmidt defends it easily.
Pewterschmidt throws a big right hand that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pewterschmidt wants to control from the top but Ortiz keeps moving. Ortiz avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Pewterschmidt trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ortiz wants to stand up but Pewterschmidt is controlling him. Pewterschmidt advances to half guard. Ortiz wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ortiz is looking for a sweep. Pewterschmidt is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Pewterschmidt seems to be looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pewterschmidt not landing any meaningful shots this time. Pewterschmidt trying to control from half guard but Ortiz is working away. Ortiz avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Pewterschmidt. Pewterschmidt wants to take a breather but Ortiz is having none of it. Pewterschmidt is working for a submission of some sort.
Pewterschmidt has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Pewterschmidt not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Pewterschmidt wants to free his trapped foot but Ortiz is holding on for dear life with his legs. Pewterschmidt seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ortiz does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Pewterschmidt missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ortiz punching from the bottom.
Ortiz is trying to stand back up but Pewterschmidt is controlling him
Pewterschmidt is pressing down on Ortiz's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ortiz is holding on for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carter Pewterschmidt dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Ortiz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Ortiz closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pewterschmidt circles away. Ortiz gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Pewterschmidt doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Pewterschmidt thuds a left hand into Ortiz's body. Pewterschmidt throws a front kick aimed at Ortiz's knee but Ortiz avoids it well. Pewterschmidt throws a big shot that misses. Ortiz misses with a straight left. Pewterschmidt fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Pewterschmidt connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice shot by Pewterschmidt. Pewterschmidt ducks under a wild hook from Ortiz. Ortiz throws a jab but it's blocked by Pewterschmidt. Ortiz misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pewterschmidt.
Ortiz tries to move into range but Pewterschmidt moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Pewterschmidt uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ortiz has time to react.
Ortiz is rocked! Are you kidding me?! Pewterschmidt ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Ortiz clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
