Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hendo Han (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sammy Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Han comes to the cage accompanied by Have a Cigar. Sammy Stone will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hendo Han!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sammy Stone!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Han slips a jab from Stone.
Stone swats away the attempt to clinch by Han.
Han feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Stone's calf.

Han closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Stone quickly recovers to half guard.
Han sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Stone defending well though.
Han not landing any meaningful shots this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Han is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Stone still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Stone has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
Han is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Stone off and has taken his back!

A bit of a pause in the action here. Han controlling the positon.
Stone prevents Han from getting a body triangle.

Stone is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Han gets his way!
Han tries to keep control of the position but Stone is staying busy.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Han tries to get the hooks in deep but Stone pushed the leg off.
Stone wants to get back to his feet.

Stone covering up well and avoiding damage.
What can Stone do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

I would not like to be Stone right now.
Han tries to get the hooks in deep but Stone pushed the leg off.

Han is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Han scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Stone is looking for a way out.
Stone manages to scramble and ends up in full guard, under a barage of strikes . Great composure from Stone.
Han wants to control from the top but Stone keeps moving.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Stone wants to get back to his feet but Han is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hendo Han dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Han is looking to score with low kicks.
Han moves out of range as Stone strikes.
Stone has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Han.
Han swings away with a leg kick that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Han throws a head kick that misses.
Han shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stone as he avoids it easily.
Sammy Stone is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Han throws a quick inside leg kick.
Han tries a low kick but Stone avoids it.
Han is looking to land body kicks.
Stone lands a slapping body shot.
Han shoots in and drives through. Stone sprawls well.
Hendo Han seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Han misses with a body kick.
Han scores with a spinning back kick!

Han throws a low kick, looking for Stone's leg but Stone calmly moves out of range.
Stone avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Han thuds a left hand into Stone's body.
Han scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Han tries to score with a low kick but Stone moves his leg out of the way.
Han lands a nice leg kick that just misses Stone's sensitive parts.
Stone ducks right into an uppercut from Han.

Han is looking to clinch but Stone is avoiding it.
Han moves in looking to clinch but Stone pushes him off.
Han tries to clinch there but Stone circles away.
Stone misses with an uppercut.
Han will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Stone avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Stone defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Han.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hendo Han. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Han pivots, looking for a leg kick but Stone is out of range and Han settles back down.
Han throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Stone avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Han misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Han with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Han throws a nice inside leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hendo Han dominated that second round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Han looking to land some kicks to the body here.
A slow jab from Stone misses its intended target.
Han lands a high kick!
Han tries to clinch up.
Stone takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Han throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Stone misses with a hook.

Han misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Han tries to clinch up but Stone circles away and keeps his distance.
Stone keeps the fight on the outside.
Han tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stone was well out of range. Poor timing from Han.
Stone misses with a jab to the body
and Han counters with an inside leg kick.

Han feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Han prevents Stone from getting back to his feet.
Han might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Stone keeping moving, preventing Han from controlling successfully.
Hanis looking to pass into half guard but Stone pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Stone is in guard.
Stone wanted to stand there but Han had control of the position.
Han looking to control.
Han is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Stone stopping the sweep attempt from Han.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Han is on top in guard.
Han sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Stone wants to get back to his feet but Han is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Hendo Han is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Stone keeping moving, preventing Han from controlling successfully.
Han stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stone swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Stone is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Stone throws a series of punches but Han moves out of range.
Stone misses the body punch
and Han counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Han is looking to slow Stone down with leg kicks.
Han tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stone swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sammy Stone has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Han wants to land a leg kick but Stone is out of range.

And that's the end of the fight!
Hendo Han showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Han has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
