Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cheez Itz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuudai Ryuu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Itz's entrance music is do you really want to hurt me. A fine choice. Ryuu has chosen HBO Boxing 24/7 Original Theme as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Itz shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ryuu napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Ryuu is trying to get back to half guard.
Ryuu struggling a bit here.
Itz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ryuu keeps working.
Itz working away.
Ryuu managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Itz.
Ryuu parries the strikes from Itz easily there. Itz is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Ryuu to escape.
Itz tries to move to full mount but Ryuu actually manages to regain half guard.

Itz missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Itz trying to control from Ryuu's half guard. Ryuu has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Itz throws a strike but Ryuu rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Itz is trying to keep Ryuu in close.

Itz might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Itz tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Cheez Itz wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Ryuu throws a lazy right hand but Itz sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Itz shoots in looking for a takedown. Ryuu tries to sprawl out of it but Itz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ryuu manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Itz throws a right and a left that Ryuu avoids nicely.
Ryuu scores with a push kick.
A jab from Ryuu does it's job there.
Itz circles away from the clinch attempt.
Itz doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Itz misses with a body punch
and Ryuu counters with a good low kick that Itz was not able to check.
Itz on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Ryuu wants to clinch up but Itz keeps it at a distance.
Nice body punch from Itz.
Itz looks to land a left hand but Ryuu moved out of range nicely.
Itz misses with a takedown
and Ryuu counters with a good, hard body kick but Itz shrugs it off.
Yuudai Ryuu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Itz is breathing heavily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Both fighters circling a little - Ryuu finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Itz swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ryuu ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Ryuu thumps Itz with a low kick.
Ryuu lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Ryuu scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Ryuu takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Ryuu throws a right and a left that Itz avoids nicely.
Cheez Itz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Itz waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ryuu.

Ryuu drops Itz with a beautiful combination! Itz stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ryuu is looking for the KO!

It looks like Cheez Itz has been cut.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Itz has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ryuu finds it's way round the side to connect with Itz's head.

Itz is rocked!
Itz takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Oh Itz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Ryuu drops Itz with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Itz looks back up at him and smiles so Ryuu waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yuudai Ryuu dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Cheez Itz's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ryuu scores with a leg kick.
Ryuu grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Itz takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Ryuu cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
