The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pfiel throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Coon fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pfiel avoids it really well and circles away.
Coon shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Pfiel is looking to get to half guard.
Pfiel is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Pfiel is wriggling around trying to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Coon throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Pfiel squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Coon thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

It looks like Josh Pfiel has been cut.
Pfiel tries to hold on but Coon pushes him away.
Pfiel manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Coon wants to pass to mount but Pfiel is defending the position.
Pfiel pushes Coon off and gets back to his feet.
Coon looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pfiel is fending him off so far but Coon persists. Nope, Pfiel circles away and we're back to standing.
Coon looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Pfiel!
Pfiel holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Coon tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Coon lands a heavy elbow.
That has opened up Josh Pfiel's cut even more.
Coon unloads with some shots from mount but Pfiel bucks and avoids them well.
Pfiel takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
The cut above Josh Pfiel's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Coon thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Pfiel in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Josh Pfiel's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Josh Pfiel's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
