The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takaki defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Draclau. Draclau shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Takaki as he avoids it easily. Takaki slips a straight right by Draclau. Takaki pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Draclau on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Takaki walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Draclau checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Takaki throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Draclau moves out of range of the leg kick from Takaki. Draclau tries to clinch but Takaki moves out of range. Takaki attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Draclau throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Takaki counters with a body kick. Takaki motions for Draclau to come forward. Takaki throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Draclau dips to his left and cracks Takaki with an uppercut!
That's one minute gone in the round. Draclau tries to clinch but Takaki moves out of range. A jab lands there for Takaki. Draclau dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Draclau steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Takaki. That one must have hurt. Draclau lands with a cross. Takaki swings away with a leg kick that misses. Takaki throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Takaki thumps Draclau with a low kick. Takaki ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Draclau pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Takaki goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Takaki misses the jab. Draclau throws a hook but Takaki blocks it. Takaki keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Takaki is looking to chop away at Draclau's legs. Draclau misses the jab. Takaki throws the kick towards the body but Draclau avoids it. Takaki misses the shot to the body. Takaki misses with a looping right. Takaki loads up on a big right hand but Draclau slips the punch. Takaki swings away with a body shot that misses
and Draclau counters with a right hand to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Draclau steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Takaki. That one must have hurt. Takaki scoring well with a low kick there.
The fighters circle momentarily. Takaki darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Draclau throws a leg kick but Takaki sees it coming and moves out of range. Draclau closes the distance and clinches up with Takaki, looking for a takedown. Draclau pushes Takaki against the cage but Takaki circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alphons Draclau. That's going to take a lot out of him. Draclau digs a good body shot into Takaki's ribs. Takaki motions for Draclau to come forward. Takaki throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Draclau throws a nice looking combination but Takaki bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Takaki misses with a leg kick and Draclau counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Takaki thows a leg kick but Draclau checks it and Draclau makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Good work by Draclau as he checks the leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Takaki finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Draclau connects with a solid leg kick. Draclau throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Takaki's waist but Takaki gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Draclau off to one side. Draclau misses with a series of wild punches.
Takaki lands with a thumping leg kick.
Draclau looks to land a body kick but Takaki moved away. Takaki misses with a leg kick and Draclau counters with a stiff right hand. No luck for Draclau with that takedown attempt. Takaki tries a low kick but Draclau avoids it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Kichiro Takaki will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Takaki ducks under a wild hook from Draclau. Draclau ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Takaki moves away. Takaki misses with a low kick.
Draclau misses the body punch and Takaki counters with a body kick that stops Draclau in his tracks momentarily. The fight moves into the clinch position. Takaki lands a body shot. Draclau breaks the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Draclau pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Draclau thows a leg kick but Takaki checks it and Takaki counters with a leg kick. Takaki fakes the leg kick and cracks Draclau in the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Takaki scoring well with a low kick there.
A low kick from Draclau misses and Takaki connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Takaki, right into the meat.
Takaki lands a nice hook to Draclau's body. Draclau takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Draclau throws a push kick but Takaki slaps the foot to one side. Takaki throws a leg kick and Draclau counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Draclau looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Draclau passes to side control. Draclau prevents Takaki from escaping the position. Draclau content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Takaki is looking for a sweep. Draclau trying to control the position but Takaki is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Takaki being controlled for a moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Alphons Draclau. Draclau paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Draclau ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Takaki moves away. Draclau misses with a takedown attempt - Takaki sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Alphons Draclau will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!
Draclau shoots and misses and Takaki counters with a low kick, right behind Draclau 's knee. Kichiro Takaki seems to be getting the better of the standup. Takaki feints and then cracks Draclau's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Draclau down. Draclau takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Takaki buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Draclau tries to clinch but Takaki is having none of it. Draclau checks a low kick from Takaki. A nice leg kick lands there from Takaki. Takaki tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Takaki catches Draclau with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Draclau is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Takaki throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Draclau counters with a leg kick. Takaki will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Kichiro Takaki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Draclau tries to close the distance and clinch but Takaki swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Draclau thows a leg kick but Takaki checks it and Takaki counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. A good leg kick by Takaki. Takaki scores with a leg kick.
Draclau misses with a leg kick and Takaki counters with a leg kick. A nice leg kick lands there from Takaki. Takaki slips a straight right by Draclau. Draclau is looking to clinch but Takaki is avoiding it.
Draclau takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Draclau rushes Takaki and presses him up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Takaki lands a left hand.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Takaki has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Takaki throws a punch but it's blocked by Draclau. Takaki tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Draclau's elbow. Draclau throws a head punch that misses. A nice left hand lands by Takaki.
The referee calls for Draclau to work.
Draclau goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Takaki wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Takaki tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Draclau's elbow. Takaki breaks from the clinch.
Takaki throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Draclau drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Draclau has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Takaki!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Draclau thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Draclau controlling the pace for now. Draclau wants to control the pace but Takaki is squirming around nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Takaki tries to get back to half guard but can't. Draclau controlling his opponent. Draclau throwing strikes here but Takaki is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Draclau trying to control but Takaki is having none of it.
And that's the end of the fight! Kichiro Takaki comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Takaki has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
