Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Al Swearengen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Swearengen comes to the cage accompanied by A Story From North America. Wilson has chosen Eminem-Cinderella Man as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilson tries for a takedown but Swearengen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Swearengen cracks Wilson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Swearengen scoring well with a low kick there.
Swearengen looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Swearengen staying out of range there. Wilson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Wilson feints and as Swearengen raises his hands in defense, Wilson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Swearengen is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wilson thows a big elbow that misses. Wilson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Wilson trying to control but Swearengen is working from the bottom. Swearengen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Swearengen is looking to take a break and control but Wilson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Swearengen wants to pass the guard but Wilson is defending well. Wilson wants to get back to his feet. Swearengen is working for a submission of some sort.
Swearengen is pressing down on Wilson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Wilson is holding on for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Swearengen is trying to control the action in half guard but Wilson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Wilson is pressing down on Swearengen's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Swearengen trying to control the position from guard on top but Wilson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wilson on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Swearengen. Swearengen obviously looking to wear him down.
Swearengen moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Swearengen misses with a looping left. Swearengen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wilson. Swearengen lands a jab to Wilson's midsection. Wilson closes the distance and clinches up with Swearengen, looking for a takedown. Wilson pushes Swearengen against the cage but Swearengen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Al Swearengen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Wilson. Wilson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Swearengen did well to prevent Wilson getting side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Swearengen is looking to escape. Swearengen pushes Wilson off and gets back to his feet. Wilson moves out of range of the body kick. Swearengen scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Swearengen misses with a hook. Wilson ducked under it nicely. Swearengen tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Swearengen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Swearengen throws a right hand that Wilson ducks under and follows up with a left that Wilson also avoids with ease. Swearengen misses with an uppercut. Swearengen looks to land a combination. Wilson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Wilson dives in and grabs Swearengen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Swearengen pushes down on Wilson's head and hops out. Wilson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Swearengen.
Wilson slips under a jab from Swearengen. Swearengen throws a low kick but it's checked well by Wilson. Wilson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Swearengen napping and manages to drive through into side control!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Swearengen is trying to improve his position. Swearengen wants to control but Wilson postures up. Swearengen manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Swearengen is working for a kimura but Wilson is defending it quite comfortably.

Al Swearengen dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Swearengen throws out a powerful jab. A left and a right from Swearengen both land. Nice combination. Wilson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Swearengen moves away. Wilson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Swearengen gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Wilson to score an easy takedown into full guard. Swearengen is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Wilson is controlling him. Swearengen utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Swearengen is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Swearengen preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Swearengen looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Wilson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Wilson prevents Swearengen from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Swearengen is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Wilson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Swearengen pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Nice cross by Swearengen. Al Swearengen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Swearengen lands a body shot.
Wilson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Swearengen's guard. Wilson wants to pass the guard but Swearengen is keeping the position. Swearengen wants to stand and escape but Wilson is having none of it. Swearengen trying to keep a closed guard but Wilson is proving a slippery customer.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wilson keeping moving, preventing Swearengen from controlling successfully. Swearengen not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Swearengen advances position into side control! Swearengen tries for a kimura but Wilson is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilson is trying to escape the position but Swearengen is controlling the position. Swearengen looking to control but instead Wilson has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Swearengen prevents Wilson from standing back up.
Wilson is staying active underneath Swearengen, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Al Swearengen. Swearengen connects with a looping right hand.
Swearengen paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Wilson blocks a leg kick. Swearengen fails to land with a series of punches.
Wilson shoots in and drives through. Swearengen sprawls well. Swearengen scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Wilson doesn't seem bothered though. Swearengen lands with a nice body kick. Swearengen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Wilson shoots in for a double leg but Swearengen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Wilson is breathing heavily. Swearengen misses with the combination.

Wilson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Swearengen misses with a wild combination.
A cross from Swearengen lands. Wilson misses with a takedown attempt - Swearengen sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Swearengen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wilson was well out of range. Poor timing from Swearengen. Wilson moves out of range of the body kick from Swearengen.

Swearengen moves out of range of the strikes. Swearengen misses with a hook. Wilson ducked under it nicely. Swearengen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Swearengen connects with a right hand. Wilson shakes it off. Horrible takedown by Wilson or perhaps it was just good defense by Swearengen which made him look bad. No luck with that takedown attempt from Wilson. Al Swearengen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Wilson. Wilson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Swearengen feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Wilson's calf. Wilson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Good exchange - Swearengen coming out on top.
Wilson is rocked! Look low, kick high! Swearengen uses the oldest trick in the book to send Wilson tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Swearengen is absolutely delighted - when Wilson wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
