Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sven Olle Matsdottir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jake Turner is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sven Olle Matsdottir! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jake Turner! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Turner tries to clinch up but Matsdottir circles away and keeps his distance. Matsdottir has closed the distance and engaged Turner in a clinch.
Matsdottir stops a takedown attempt from Turner.
The referee is keeping an eye on Matsdottir - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Matsdottir blocks an uppercut.
The referee calls for Matsdottir to work.
Matsdottir taking a breather. Matsdottir keeps control of Turner as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Turner creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Turner breaks from the clinch.
Turner closes the distance but Matsdottir moves to the side and Matsdottir counters with a series of strikes. Turner will be more careful next time no doubt. Turner goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Matsdottir pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Matsdottir shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Turner wants to stand but Matsdottir is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turner trying to control the position here. Turner is trying to control the position but Matsdottir postures up. Matsdottir is fighting to break Turner's control of his arms but Turner is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Matsdottir with a flurry of punches that miss. Matsdottir wants to control from the top but Turner keeps moving. Matsdottir throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Matsdottir is stalling in the full guard. Matsdottir trying to control but Turner is working from the bottom. Turner pushes Matsdottir off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Matsdottir instigates a clinch. Matsdottir wants to break the clinch but can't.
Turner gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Matsdottir.
Turner is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Matsdottir gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Turner throws a punch but it's blocked by Matsdottir. Matsdottir leaning his opponent against the cage. Turner tries to pull guard but Matsdottir holds him up against the cage and eventually Turner drops back down to his feet.
Sven Olle Matsdottir has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Turner. Matsdottir is looking to break free of the clinch but Turner has double underhooks. Turner lands a nice elbow from the clinch. A left hand lands to the body for Turner.
Matsdottir has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Turner is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Turner doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Turner misses with a short punch on the inside. Turner goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Matsdottir avoids the elbow strike from Turner, against the cage.
Matsdottir successfully pulls guard.
Turner is fighting to break Matsdottir's control of his arms but Matsdottir is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Matsdottir is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Turner is controlling him. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Matsdottir holds on and takes a little breather. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Turner looking to pass the guard. Matsdottir looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Matsdottir wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Matsdottir looking to control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jake Turner will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Turner tries to clinch but Matsdottir moves away and Matsdottir counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Matsdottir. Turner keeping moving, preventing Matsdottir from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Sven Olle Matsdottir. Turner wants to clinch but Matsdottir slips to the side and Matsdottir counters with a single leg into guard. Turner didn't expect that. Turner is pulling down on Matsdottir's head to control his posture. Matsdottir throws a big right hand that misses. Matsdottir looking to sit in guard and control but Turner gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Matsdottir is on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Matsdottir trying to control the position from guard on top but Turner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Turner is working an open guard so Matsdottir takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Turner wants to clinch but Matsdottir slips to the side and Matsdottir decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Turner's guard. Matsdottir missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Matsdottir trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Matsdottir decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Turner, up you get! Matsdottir moves into the clinch successfully.
Matsdottir's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Matsdottir goes for a takedown in the clinch but Turner prevents it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Matsdottir drops down looking for an ankle pick but Turner pulls his leg out and moves away.
Nice shot by Turner. Turner with a jab. This has been an exciting period of action! Turner tries to clinch up but Matsdottir circles away and keeps his distance. Turner closes the distance but Matsdottir moves to the side and Matsdottir counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Matsdottir prevents Turner from standing back up.
Turner is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Matsdottir is figuring out what he wants to do next. Turner is looking to improve his position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Matsdottir passes the guard and advances to mount! Matsdottir trying to control but Turner is having none of it. Matsdottir jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Turner is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Turner and Matsdottir has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Turner prevents Matsdottir from improving position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sven Olle Matsdottir dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Turner throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Matsdottir instigates a clinch. Matsdottir will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Turner up against the cage. Matsdottir jumps guard and drags Turner to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Matsdottir working a defensive guard here.
Turner throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Turner tries to free his leg and advance position but Matsdottir is retaining full guard. Matsdottir tries to land a sweep but no joy. Matsdottir trying to keep a closed guard but Turner is proving a slippery customer.
Matsdottir has his hands on Turner's head, controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Matsdottir's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Matsdottir is on top in guard.
Matsdottir has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Matsdottir trying to control the position from guard on top but Turner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Matsdottir might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Matsdottir postures up in Turner's guard and throws a big left but Turner blocks it. Turner keeping moving, preventing Matsdottir from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Sven Olle Matsdottir. Turner sizes up Matsdottir with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Turner is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Matsdottir. An inside leg kick from Turner misses. Turner throws a hook to the side of Matsdottir's head but Matsdottir sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Turner throws a series of punches but Matsdottir moves out of range. Matsdottir fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Turner checks it well. Turner scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Turner closes the distance but Matsdottir moves to the side and Matsdottir counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Turner's guard now. Matsdottir won't allow Turner to get back to his feet. Turner takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Matsdottir accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Matsdottir wants to control from the top but Turner keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Matsdottir throws a big right hand that misses. Turner manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Matsdottir rushes Turner and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Turner prevents a takedown attempt there.

Turner trying to control the position but instead, Matsdottir has worked for underhooks and has pushed Turner into the cage. Matsdottir has Turner pressed against the cage, preventing Turner from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Turner using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Matsdottir has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Turner drops down looking for an ankle pick but Matsdottir pulls his leg out and moves away.
Matsdottir clinches up against the cage. Matsdottir keeps control of Turner as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Turner blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Turner is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Matsdottir jumps into guard, dragging Turner to the mat.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Matsdottir holds on and takes a little breather. Sven Olle Matsdottir overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
And that's the end of the fight! Sven Olle Matsdottir showed his dominance in that final round. I think Matsdottir has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
