Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ryhti Metti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keith Minnesota (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Metti looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Metti lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Minnesota is trying to maintain the position but Metti is very close to passing his half guard. Metti throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Metti stops Minnesota from getting back to his feet.
Minnesota moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Minnesota is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Metti drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Minnesota dives on top into guard. Minnesota postures up in Metti's guard and throws a big left but Metti blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Minnesota postures up.
Minnesota pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Metti is keeping the position for now. Minnesota must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Metti striking off his back but it's not causing Minnesota any problems. Minnesota really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Metti. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Metti striking off his back but it's not causing Minnesota any problems.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Minnesota wants to clinch up but Metti keeps it at a distance. Metti feints and as Minnesota raises his hands in defense, Metti changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Minnesota keeping moving, preventing Metti from controlling successfully. Minnesota seems keen to control Metti's posture. Minnesota looking for a guillotine here but Metti defends easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Metti wants to control from the top but Minnesota keeps moving. Minnesota is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Minnesota lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Metti! Minnesota landing strikes from the mount and Metti is in trouble! Metti keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Minnesota lands a big shot there that rocks Metti but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Minnesota moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Metti has worked his arm free - good work by Metti!

Keith Minnesota dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Minnesota decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Minnesota not landing any meaningful shots this time. Metti tries to get to full guard but Minnesota has control of the leg. Minnesota is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Metti reverses the position - he's now on top in Minnesota's guard. Metti thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Metti trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Minnesota is trying to control the position but Metti postures up. Metti slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Minnesota trying to control the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Minnesota misses with a leg kick. Metti shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Minnesota counters with a takedown into side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Minnesota looking to control but instead Metti has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Minnesota is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Minnesota trying to control from half guard but Metti is working away. Minnesota decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Metti looks to land a right hand but Minnesota moved out of range. Metti closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Minnesota to the mat! Minnesota manages to get full guard. Metti trying to control the position from guard on top but Minnesota is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Metti is fighting to break Minnesota's control of his arms but Minnesota is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Minnesota controls Metti momentarily but Metti frees himself. Minnesota wants to sweep here but Metti controlling him for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Metti tries to free his leg and advance position but Minnesota is retaining full guard. Metti missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Metti landing with the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Metti works over Minnesota with some ground and pound from guard. Metti postures up and lands a big shot to Minnesota's brow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Minnesota keeping full guard, as Metti tries to pass. Metti content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Minnesota is rocked! Metti slips nicely into half guard. Minnesota is still in real trouble! Can Metti finish him? Metti works his foot free and advances to mount. Minnesota is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Minnesota seems to have recovered his senses. Minnesota is looking to improve his position but Metti isn't that keen on the idea.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ryhti Metti will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Metti tries to hold on but Minnesota postures up. A nice elbow there by Minnesota. Metti is working to get back to half guard.
Metti is working hard here to advance position. Minnesota lands with some strikes. Minnesota tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Metti is desperately trying to improve his position but Minnesota has a good base and remains in mount. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Minnesota sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Metti tries to hold on but Minnesota postures up. Metti stops Minnesota from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Minnesota raining down shots from the mount! Minnesota working Metti over with strikes here. Metti is trying desperately to improve position. Minnesota looking to control but Metti is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Metti is working to get back to half guard.
