Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gunner Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Marko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marko has chosen Smash as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gunner Scott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cain Marko! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marko will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Marko tries to score a power double leg takedown but Scott sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Marko somewhat. Gunner Scott has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cain Marko. A combination from Scott does no damage. Excellent takedown into side control there by Marko. Scott is not content to let Marko control the position. Marko creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Scott sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marko trying to control the position but Scott is working away. Marko postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Marko throws a strike aimed at the side of Scott's head but Scott avoids it well. Scott is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Marko looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Scott wants to sweep but no luck. Marko is looking to work some ground and pound but Scott has wrist control. Scott avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marko postures up in Scott's guard and throws a big left but Scott blocks it. Marko throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Scott on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Scott tries to get out of the position. Marko lands a couple of elbows. Marko tries to free his leg and advance position but Scott is retaining full guard. Marko is stalling in the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Marko postures up.
Scott utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Marko sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marko throwing strikes from guard but Scott blocks nicely. Marko lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Marko with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Scott working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Marko. Scott is trying to keep Marko in close.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Marko accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Marko working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Scott's head. Marko postures up in Scott's guard and throws a big left but Scott blocks it. Cain Marko dominated that round. That's time! Scott's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Marko fails to land the takedown. Scott throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Marko shoots in for a double leg but Scott sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Scott displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Marko. Gunner Scott has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cain Marko. Marko shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Scott pinned against the cage. Scott gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Marko slips a straight right by Scott. Scott lands a jab. Scott thuds a left hand into Marko's body. Marko is breathing heavily. Marko staying out of range there. Gunner Scott is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Marko shoots in but Scott avoids the takedown attempt easily. Scott paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The fighters circling - Scott throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Marko takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Cain Marko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marko on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Gunner Scott is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Scott misses with an uppercut. Marko saw that one coming. Marko slips a jab from Scott. Scott connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Marko momentarily.
Marko walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Scott swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Gunner Scott!
