Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Victor Horta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshi Makoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Horta might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Indestructible. Victor Horta had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Makoto. No joy for Horta on that attempt.
Makoto fails in his attempt to clinch.
Makoto moves into the clinch.
Horta lands a left hand that snaps the head of Makoto backwards.
Makoto content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Horta jumps guard and drags Makoto to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Makoto trying to control the position from guard on top but Horta is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Makoto is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Makoto would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Makoto won't allow Horta to get back to his feet.
Makoto is standing up over Horta. Horta looks to escape but Makoto dives into side control.

Makoto is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Horta is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Makoto sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Horta is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Makoto has hold of Horta's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Horta tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Makoto cranks the arm and Horta screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Horta, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
