Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Chimpo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Pham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Johnny Chimpo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dan Pham! The judges for this bout are , and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chimpo tries to bum rush Pham with a series of wild strikes but Pham uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Pham throws a front kick aimed at Chimpo's knee but Chimpo avoids it well. No luck for Pham with that takedown attempt. Chimpo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Chimpo looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Pham! Chimpo pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Pham tries to hold on but Chimpo pushes him away. Chimpo goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Pham is on top in guard.
Pham thows a big elbow that misses. Pham trying to control but Chimpo is working from the bottom. Chimpo looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Chimpo looking for a guillotine here but Pham defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chimpo wants to sweep here but Pham controlling him for the moment. Pham trying to control the position from guard on top but Chimpo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pham slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Pham is working Chimpo over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Pham throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Chimpo works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Pham looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Chimpo is looking for a triangle but Pham pushes his legs off easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Pham trying to control but Chimpo is working from the bottom. Chimpo looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Pham passes into side control.
Pham in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Chimpo tries to improve position but can't. Pham tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pham has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pham is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Chimpo has escaped the position, nice work there. Chimpo is looking to reverse the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chimpo is working hard here to advance position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Pham throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Pham has his takedown stuffed and Chimpo counters with a single leg into guard. Pham didn't expect that. Chimpo prevents Pham from getting back to his feet. Chimpo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Pham is keeping the position for now. Pham throws a nice elbow from the bottom. Pham trying to keep a closed guard but Chimpo is proving a slippery customer.
Chimpo tries to free his leg and advance position but Pham is retaining full guard. Pham is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Chimpo is controlling him. Chimpo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Pham is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Pham has escaped and now he's on top!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pham trying to control the position from guard on top but Chimpo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Chimpo is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. This has been an exciting period of action! Chimpo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Chimpo is looking for a kimura here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Chimpo moves nicely into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny Chimpo dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Chimpo with a poor takedown and Pham counters with a takedown into side control. The ground and pound from Pham seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Chimpo regains half guard. Chimpo is staying active underneath Pham, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chimpo moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Pham must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Chimpo working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Pham has passed into half guard!
Pham thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pham wants to control but Chimpo is keeping him busy. Chimpo manages to get to full guard.

Pham is stalling here. Chimpo is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Pham seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Chimpo has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Johnny Chimpo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. You can see the frustration on Pham's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
