Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between BJ Veb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan Jakobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Veb comes to the cage accompanied by Damian Marley ft Nas - Road to Zion. Jakobs has chosen "Rusty Cage" by Johnny Cash as his entrance music. BJ Veb has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veb closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Veb tries to score a body lock takedown but Jakobs shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Veb has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jakobs is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Jakobs is pressed up against the cage. Veb has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jakobs down to the mat. Jakobs avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for BJ Veb. That's going to take a lot out of him.

BJ Veb seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Veb takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Oh Veb is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jakobs sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Veb's defenses. It connects perfectly with Veb's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
