Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Mama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Croca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marco Croca is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Joe Mama! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marco Croca! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Alexandre Firmino and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Croca misses with a wild combination.
Mama misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Croca stuffs the takedown. No luck with that takedown attempt from Mama. Mama shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Croca as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Mama. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mama shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mama showed some decent athleticism there. Croca is positioning himself well to prevent Mama advancing to mount. Croca pushes Mama off looking to stand but Mama dives back in and keeps control.

That's one minute gone in the round. Croca has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mama is working away from the top position though. Croca is not content to let Mama control the position. Croca tries to kick Mama off in order to stand up. Mama Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mama tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Mama fails to land a wild elbow strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Mama goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Croca has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Mama but great work by Croca. Croca moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Mama is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Croca decides to stand back up. Croca steps back and let's Mama get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Croca gets in close and instigates a clinch. The referee is keeping an eye on Croca - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Croca gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Mama.
Croca works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Croca breaks from the clinch.
Croca throws a nice looking combination but Mama bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Croca displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mama. Mama is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Croca's half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Croca is controlling Mama's position as best he can from this difficult position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mama is just content to waste time from the top position. Croca takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Croca looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Croca is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Croca keeping moving, preventing Mama from controlling successfully. Croca manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marco Croca dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Croca looks to throw the jab but Mama is out of range. Joe Mama is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Croca clinches. Croca lands a body punch in the clinch. Croca breaks from the clinch.
Croca tries to clinch there but Mama circles away.
Croca swats away the attempt to clinch by Mama. Croca throws a right and a left that Mama avoids nicely. Mama misses with a takedown attempt - Croca sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Croca lands a left and a right that send Mama crashing to the mat, dazed. Croca thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Joe Mama has been cut. Croca misses with a few strikes there.
Mama shoots for a double leg takedown but Croca sprawls well. He's pushed Mama's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Croca works the jab nicely. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Croca cracks Mama on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Mama falls backwards against the cage. Croca follows up with more strikes that drop Mama to his knees. Croca keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Mama! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marco Croca!
