The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jerman shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jerman was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jerman tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kane sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jerman somewhat.
Kane lands with a hook. Jerman tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Jerman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kane pinned against the cage. Kane gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
