The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erikson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sandler moves forwards but Erikson connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Erikson lands a left and a right that send Sandler crashing to the mat, dazed. Erikson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Erikson misses with a looping left.
Sandler tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Erikson swivels and escapes.
Erikson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Horrible takedown by Sandler or perhaps it was just good defense by Erikson which made him look bad.
Erikson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adam Sandler. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Erikson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Erikson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sandler stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Sandler is breathing heavily.

Erikson drops Sandler with a beautiful combination! Sandler stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Erikson is looking for the KO!

Sandler is rocked!

It looks like Adam Sandler has been cut.
Sandler walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Erikson swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
