Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Volmar Wikstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riddick Wannick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wannick comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Green Day - Basket Case kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wikstrom closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wikstrom lands in his opponent's guard.
Wannick is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Wannick working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wikstrom doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wikstrom manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Wannick is trying to keep Wikstrom in close.

Wikstrom wants to control from the top but Wannick keeps moving.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Wannick is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Wikstrom is aware though and is defending well.

Wannick is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wikstrom defends well.
Wannick is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Wannick controls Wikstrom momentarily but Wikstrom frees himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Volmar Wikstrom dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Wikstrom shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Wikstrom tries for a takedown but Wannick sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Wikstrom takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Wannick lands with a slapping head kick.
Wikstrom shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wannick sprawls well. Wannick wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wikstrom gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Volmar Wikstrom. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wannick throws a leg kick which misses Wikstrom's front leg but catches the back leg as Wikstrom tries to avoid it.

Wikstrom stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Wannick.
Volmar Wikstrom is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Wannick looks to score with a jab to the body but Wikstrom is just out of range.
Wannick throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Wikstrom's head.
It looks like Volmar Wikstrom has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wannick connects with a nice looking jab.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wannick throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Wikstrom stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Wannick follows into mount!
Wikstrom is rocked!
Wannick postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Wikstrom out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Wannick goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
