Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Serega Virtus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, John Wayne Gacy!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Illya Tyunina and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gacy misses with a series of wild punches.
Gacy defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Virtus.
Virtus tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gacy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Virtus somewhat.
Gacy scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Serega Virtus has been cut.
Virtus fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Serega Virtus. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gacy is looking to land body kicks.
Virtus lands with a thumping leg kick.
Virtus fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Some wild striking there from Gacy.
Serega Virtus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gacy lands a nice hook to Virtus's body. Virtus takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Virtus shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gacy as he avoids it easily.
Gacy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Virtus to the mat! Virtus manages to get full guard.
Virtus is breathing heavily.

Gacy wants to control from the top but Virtus keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gacy is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gacy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Gacy throws a strike but Virtus rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Virtus got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gacy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Virtus has managed to get both his arms back between Gacy's legs - danger averted.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Virtus throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Virtus doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Gacy counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Virtus lands a slapping body shot.
Gacy swats away the attempt to clinch by Virtus.
Virtus shoots in looking for a takedown. Gacy tries to sprawl out of it but Virtus keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gacy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Virtus shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Gacy counters with a left and a right that stings Virtus.
Virtus gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
letting Gacy counter with a right hand.
Virtus shoots and misses
enabling Gacy to counter with a crisp jab.
Virtus will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Virtus clinches.
Virtus manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Virtus throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Virtus not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Gacy postures up in Virtus's guard and throws a big left but Virtus blocks it.

Virtus controls Gacy momentarily but Gacy frees himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Serega Virtus dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Serega Virtus's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Virtus misses with a takedown
and Gacy counters with a nice double leg into side control. Virtus won't be happy with that.
Gacy wants to control but Virtus is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gacy goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Virtus has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Gacy but great work by Virtus.
Virtus tries for a kimura but Gacy is defending well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Virtus throws an elbow but Gacy slips to the side and avoids it well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Virtus has hold of Gacy's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Gacy seems comfortable defending it but Virtus has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Gacy is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Gacy is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Virtus couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Serega Virtus!
