Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caliente misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Caliente wants to clinch up but Johnson keeps it at a distance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Johnson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Johnson shoots for a double leg takedown but Caliente sprawls well. He's pushed Johnson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
The fight moves into the clinch position.

Caliente tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Johnson just stands there and leans against the cage.
Caliente jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Johnson walks away with a smile on his face. Caliente gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Caliente takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Johnson counters with a head kick.
Caliente moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Johnson darts in and clinches Caliente up against the cage.
Johnson wants the takedown. Caliente is fighting it off but Johnson persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Caliente's guard against the cage.
Caliente lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Johnson!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
You get the feeling that Johnson really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Caliente is trying to control Johnson's posture but Johnson avoids it.
Johnson tries to score with some ground and pound. Caliente controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Caliente gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Caliente is trying to hold Johnson in close to prevent damage but Johnson has managed to pass into half guard.

I've got Johnson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
