Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Santeri Reijasalo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes into the arena with eye of the tiger blaring out of the sound system. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Santeri Reijasalo!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reijasalo needs to keep his hands up - Silva had a free shot at his head there.
It looks like Santeri Reijasalo has been cut.
Silva steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Reijasalo.
A jab from Reijasalo misses.
Reijasalo takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Silva will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Silva fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silva feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Reijasalo sprawling to the canvas! Reijasalo rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Silva finish him?!
Reijasalo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Silva.
Silva lands a slapping body shot.
Reijasalo looks gassed!
Silva paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
That has opened up Santeri Reijasalo's cut even more.
Silva lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Reijasalo at a distance.
Silva cracks Reijasalo with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Silva has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Reijasalo to stand back up!
The cut above Santeri Reijasalo's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Silva has cracked Reijasalo with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Silva lands another huge swinging hook and Reijasalo tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Reijasalo, before Silva can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). James Silva!
