MacRally has chosen Sick Puppies - You're Going Down as his entrance music. gearge jone has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

MacRally is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in jone's half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

I looks like MacRally might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

jone shoots for a double leg takedown but MacRally sprawls well. He's pushed jone's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

MacRally moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

jone gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows MacRally to score an easy takedown into full guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
MacRally drops an elbow to the side of jone's head.

Nate MacRally showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well MacRally has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
