Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Snap Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matty Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis comes to the cage accompanied by Bottoms Up by Trey Songz f. Nicki Minaj. Matty Johnson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Snap Davis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matty Johnson! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Johnson showed some decent athleticism there. Davis is pressing down on Johnson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Johnson trying to control the position from guard on top but Davis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Johnson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Davis is pulling down on Johnson's head. It's preventing any offense from Johnson, at least for the moment. Davis preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Davis is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Johnson defends well. Davis is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Davis escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Johnson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Johnson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Davis is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Johnson, into his guard. Johnson wants to get back to his feet but Davis is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Davis looking to pass the guard. Johnson has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Davis off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson gets the takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Davis throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. Johnson is looking to take a break and control but Davis is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Davis explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Davis is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Davis gets caught flat footed, as Johnson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Johnson wants to control from the top but Davis keeps moving. Davis looking for a sweep. Not yet Davis, not yet. Johnson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Davis has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Johnson has managed to get both his arms back between Davis's legs - danger averted. Davis is breathing heavily. Johnson passes Davis's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Davis gets full guard. Davis looking for a sweep. Not yet Davis, not yet. Johnson landing some decent shots from guard. Johnson is working Davis over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Johnson sitting in guard, not really doing much. Johnson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson wants to pass the guard but Davis is keeping the position. Johnson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Johnson landing a few strikes. Davis is letting Johnson control him for a moment. Johnson working the ground and pound from side control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Johnson working the head with strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Davis seems a little lost for a moment, as Johnson dominates the positioning. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Johnson wants to control from the top but Davis keeps moving. Davis had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Johnson defends it easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. No joy there for Johnson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Davis takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Davis shoots in but doesn't get the takedown so Johnson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Davis wants to stand up but Johnson is controlling him. Johnson trying to control the position from guard on top but Davis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Davis wants to get back to full guard but Johnson has mounted him! Johnson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Davis can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Johnson is landing with some decent strikes but Davis is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Davis is looking to escape. Johnson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Davis is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Johnson has taken his back.
