Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yoshi Kakashi Jakotako (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thor Valhall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Yoshi Kakashi Jakotako! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Thor Valhall! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jakotako fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Valhall avoids it really well and circles away. Jakotako moves out of range of the leg kick from Valhall. Excellent takedown into side control there by Valhall. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jakotako wants to control but Valhall postures up. Jakotako defending against the ground and pound. Jakotako manages to get back to half guard. Valhall wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Jakotako uses the opportunity to regain full guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Valhall accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Jakotako trying to control the position.
Jakotako looking for subs off his back but Valhall has passed one foot through into half guard.
Valhall wants to take a breather but Jakotako is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Valhall is pressing down on Jakotako's thigh, looking to free his foot. Jakotako is holding on for now. Valhall prevents Jakotako from improving his position. Valhall moves into full mount! Jakotako won't be happy about that! Valhall is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Jakotako has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Jakotako! Valhall manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jakotako is squirming around, avoiding Valhall's attempts to control the action. Jakotako is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Valhall landing strikes from the mount. Jakotako throwing hammer fists to the chest of Valhall. What's that going to do exactly? Jakotako wants to control but Valhall is having none of it. Valhall wants to control the pace but Jakotako is squirming around nicely. Jakotako tries to lock up and control but Valhall gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Valhall lands a nice shot to the head. Valhall fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Valhall with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Valhall stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Valhall looks gassed! Valhall fails with the takedown and Jakotako counters with a shoot takedown. Valhall fights it but they end up in guard. Jakotako postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Jakotako throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Jakotako thows a big elbow that misses. Valhall controls Jakotako momentarily but Jakotako frees himself. Jakotako tries to free his leg and advance position but Valhall is retaining full guard. Valhall looking to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jakotako wants to control from the top but Valhall keeps moving.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Jakotako closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jakotako lands in his opponent's guard. Jakotako wants to control from the top but Valhall keeps moving. Jakotako advances position into side control! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jakotako throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yoshi Kakashi Jakotako dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Jakotako with a poor takedown and Valhall counters with a nice leg kick. Jakotako misses with a takedown attempt and Valhall counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Valhall. Valhall not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Valhall got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jakotako has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Valhall has managed to get both his arms back between Jakotako's legs - danger averted. Valhall must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Valhall tries to free his leg and advance position but Jakotako is retaining full guard. Jakotako is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jakotako has a closed guard, preventing Valhall from standing up. Thor Valhall has got the better of the ground game so far. Valhall trying to control but Jakotako is working from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Valhall postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jakotako is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Valhall, into his guard. Jakotako advances to half guard. Jakotako prevents Valhall from improving his position. Jakotako seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Jakotako performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Jakotako is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Valhall defends it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jakotako is looking to take a break and control but Valhall is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Jakotako is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Valhall controlling the position for now. Jakotako looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jakotako perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Jakotako wants to lay and pray for a moment but Valhall keeps working. Jakotako throwing shots but Valhall is blocking nicely. Jakotako missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Yoshi Kakashi Jakotako. Valhall looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Jakotako is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Valhall pulls his head out easily. Valhall uses his free foot to push down on Jakotako's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jakotako. Valhall scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Jakotako?

Thor Valhall showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Jakotako's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Valhall looks to land a combination. Jakotako sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Jakotako with a poor takedown and Valhall counters with a takedown into side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jakotako is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Jakotako has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Jakotako working the head and body with strikes. Valhall is not content to let Jakotako control the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jakotako throws a strike but Valhall avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Valhall wants to sweep but no luck. Valhall is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Jakotako trying to control but Valhall is working from the bottom. Valhall can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jakotako controls the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Valhall keeping moving, preventing Jakotako from controlling successfully.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Valhall content to stall in guard here.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Yoshi Kakashi Jakotako. I think Jakotako has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
