Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kudou Denji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kova Nyrkki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Denji might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kegaduro. This should be a great matchup!

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Kenichi Hosakawa and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nyrkki jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Denji tries to close the distance and clinch but Nyrkki swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Denji tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nyrkki swivels and escapes.
Denji displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

It looks like Kova Nyrkki has been cut.
Nyrkki misses with a double jab

and Denji counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Nyrkki's guard now.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Nyrkki can do anything to dispel that myth.
Nyrkki keeping moving, preventing Denji from controlling successfully.
Nyrkki wants to sweep here but Denji controlling him for the moment.

Denji thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Denji is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Nyrkki can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Denji lands with some strikes.

Nyrkki tries to lock up and control but Denji gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Denji fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Nyrkki is trying desperately to improve position.
Denji won't let Nyrkki get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Nyrkki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Denji. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Denji working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Nyrkki turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Denji off and cradles Nyrkki's limp body as Denji celebrates with his corner.
