Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lincoln Hawks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Akin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawks comes to the cage accompanied by over the top. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Bruno Lombardi and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawks fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Hawks thuds his right hand into Akin's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Akin throws a predictable looking body shot
and Hawks counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Akin looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Akin walks forward, straight into a front kick from Hawks.
Hawks clobbers Akin with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Hawks chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Hawks tests Akin's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hawks uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Akin has time to react.
Hawks circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Akin to the canvas! Akin doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Hawks keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lincoln Hawks!
