Isafoa kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is The Offspring - Come Out And Play (Keep Em' Seperated). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Malaki Isafoa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raoul Duke!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Isafoa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Isafoa throws out a loose jab but Duke uses good head movement to avoid it.
Isafoa fails with a takedown attempt.

Isafoa tries to keep at a distance but Duke has taken the fight into the clinch.

Duke turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Duke sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Isafoa is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Isafoa tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Isafoa manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Isafoa is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Duke has managed to free his arm - good work.
Isafoa thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Duke looks like he's trying to stand up.
Duke is trying to get back to full guard.
Isafoa works his way into side control.

Isafoa tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Duke can't do much from the bottom here.

Isafoa has hold of Duke's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Duke seems comfortable defending it but Isafoa has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Duke is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Duke is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Isafoa couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Malaki Isafoa!
