Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Hunt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Navorro Bowman!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jorge Garcia and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bowman shoots in looking for a takedown. Hunt tries to sprawl out of it but Bowman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hunt manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bowman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hunt tries to avoid it but Bowman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hunt to the ground. Hunt escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mike Hunt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Navorro Bowman.
Bowman shoots in but no luck this time.
Bowman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hunt pinned against the cage. Hunt gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Hunt stalks Bowman and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bowman's face. Bowman staggers backwards, shaken.
Hunt lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Hunt gets caught flat footed, as Bowman shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
