Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Nobriga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nobriga comes into the arena with Queen's We Will Rock You blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Nobriga.
The crowd cheers as Nobriga lands an impressive looking overhand right. Brooks doesn't seem phased though.
Brooks is looking to clinch but Nobriga is avoiding it.
Nobriga lands a nice hook to Brooks's body. Brooks takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Nobriga stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nobriga wants it to stay on the feet.
Brooks shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Nobriga is staying active underneath Brooks, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Nobriga has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Brooks is working away from the top position though.
