Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mean Mug (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Chambers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mean Mug!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Chambers!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chambers slips a jab and a cross from Mug.

Chambers closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mug did well to prevent Chambers getting side control.
Chambers wants to take a breather but Mug is having none of it.
Mug tries to roll over but Chambers keeps him under control.

Chambers is trying to control the action in half guard but Mug is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Mug is pressing down on Chambers's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Chambers drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Mug dives on top into guard.

Mug drops back looking for a leg! Chambers is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Chambers manages to kick Mug off! Mug jumps back into Chambers's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Chambers counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Mug's guard now.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Mug is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Chambers is aware though and is defending well.

Mug has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Chambers's face.

That was a close round but I would say that Mean Mug will probably get the nod.
That's time! Mug's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Mug drops back, looking for a kneebar! Chambers looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Chambers looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Chambers!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

I would just about give that final round to Ryan Chambers.
Well Chambers has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
