Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Vaughn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buck Plankchest (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Buck Plankchest was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Viktor Vaughn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Buck Plankchest! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Plankchest with that takedown attempt. Vaughn throws a front kick aimed at Plankchest's knee but Plankchest avoids it well. Plankchest moves away from the strike by Vaughn. Vaughn tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Vaughn looks to land a body kick but Plankchest moved away. Vaughn shoots for a takedown but Plankchest saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Plankchest swats away the attempt to clinch by Vaughn. Vaughn tries to clinch up but Plankchest circles away and keeps his distance. Vaughn pulls out of a head kick attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Plankchest fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Vaughn stuffs the takedown attempt from Plankchest. Plankchest gets slowly back to his feet. Viktor Vaughn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Buck Plankchest. Vaughn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Plankchest pinned against the cage. Plankchest gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Plankchest keeps the fight on the outside. Plankchest circles away from the clinch attempt.
Vaughn misses with a two punch combination.
No joy there for Plankchest, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Vaughn tries to clinch but Plankchest is having none of it. Vaughn looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Plankchest closes the distance and clinches up with Vaughn, looking for a takedown. Plankchest pushes Vaughn against the cage but Vaughn circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Plankchest looks gassed! Vaughn is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A thudding body kick lands there by Vaughn!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Plankchest throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Plankchest tries to pass to full mount but Vaughn defends it. Vaughn has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Plankchest is working away from the top position though. Plankchest looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Vaughn wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Plankchest trying to control the pace. Plankchest looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Vaughn wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Plankchest shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vaughn as he avoids it easily. Vaughn wants to clinch. Plankchest shoots in for a double leg but Vaughn sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Vaughn tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Plankchest holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Plankchest wants a takedown but no success here.
Plankchest gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Vaughn.
Vaughn fails to pull guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Buck Plankchest dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Plankchest avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Vaughn is looking to clinch. Vaughn tries to clinch but Plankchest is having none of it. Nice takedown defense from Plankchest. No joy for Vaughn on that attempt. Vaughn tries to clinch up but Plankchest circles away and keeps his distance. Plankchest shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Vaughn as he jumps to the side. Vaughn fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Plankchest shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vaughn tries for a takedown but Plankchest sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Viktor Vaughn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Plankchest is looking to clinch. Vaughn tries to clinch up and Plankchest counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Vaughn!
That's one minute gone in the round. Plankchest takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Vaughn really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Vaughn wants to hold on but Plankchest pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Plankchest tries to control but Vaughn wriggling away. Vaughn is desperately trying to improve his position but Plankchest has a good base and remains in mount. Vaughn tries to hold on but Plankchest postures up. Vaughn bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Plankchest wants to stand up but Vaughn is controlling him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Plankchest is trying to keep Vaughn in close.
Vaughn wants to stand but Plankchest is controlling his posture from full guard. Vaughn trying to control but Plankchest is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Plankchest is working an open guard so Vaughn takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Plankchest circles away from the clinch attempt and Plankchest counters with a nice double leg into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Buck Plankchest showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Vaughn has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Plankchest uses from the top position. Vaughn wants to sweep but no luck. Vaughn is trying to keep Plankchest in close.

Vaughn wants to control from the top but Plankchest keeps moving. Vaughn looking to pass the guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vaughn throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Plankchest works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Plankchest keeping moving, preventing Vaughn from controlling successfully. Vaughn postures up.
Plankchest really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vaughn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Vaughn trying to control the position from guard on top but Plankchest is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Plankchest closes this distance looking for a takedown but Vaughn circles away. Vaughn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Plankchest throws a head kick that half lands.
Vaughn shoots and misses and Plankchest moves into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vaughn tries to pull guard but Plankchest holds him up against the cage and eventually Vaughn drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Viktor Vaughn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vaughn wants a takedown.
Vaughn wants to break the clinch but can't.

It looks like Buck Plankchest has been cut. Vaughn lands an elbow just above Plankchest 's eye. A nice left hand lands by Vaughn.
Vaughn has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Plankchest is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Vaughn decides to pull guard. Plankchest won't allow Vaughn to sweep him here. Vaughn trying to keep a closed guard but Plankchest is proving a slippery customer.
Vaughn is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Plankchest is controlling him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Plankchest has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Vaughn is proving hard to escape from. Plankchest seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Viktor Vaughn has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that's the end of the fight! Buck Plankchest comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Plankchest winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
