Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shakyamuni Buddha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Moreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Joe Moreira was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shakyamuni Buddha! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joe Moreira! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moreira throws a body punch but Buddha moves out of range. Buddha ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Moreira misses with an uppercut. Buddha lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Moreira sprawling to the canvas. Buddha follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Moreira hang on?
Moreira is rocked!
It looks like Joe Moreira has been cut. Buddha uses his free foot to push down on Moreira's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Moreira. Moreira is still in real trouble! Can Buddha finish him? Moreira bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Moreira seems to have recovered his senses. Buddha has a closed guard, preventing Moreira from standing up. Buddha working for a triangle but Moreira defends it easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Moreira tries to stand but Buddha is controlling from the bottom. Moreira avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Moreira tries to stand but Buddha is controlling from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buddha controls Moreira momentarily but Moreira frees himself. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Moreira trying to stand up but can't free himself from Buddha's guard. Buddha wants to stand but Moreira is controlling the position. Buddha looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Moreira rolls with it to try and escape but Buddha cranks on the arm and Moreira is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
