PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jake Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Mendes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mendes pinned against the cage. Mendes gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jake Burns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mendes avoids the head kick by Burns.
Burns scores with a one two! Mendes had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.


It looks like Joseph Mendes has been cut.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Mendes lands a nice short elbow.

Burns lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mendes circles away quickly and effectively.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
