Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roger GUIDO (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Renard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roger GUIDO! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brandon Renard! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! GUIDO wants to clinch up but Renard keeps it at a distance. No luck for Renard with that takedown attempt. Renard shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Renard works a leg free and moves into half guard. Renard with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. GUIDO tries to get to full guard but Renard has control of the leg. Renard content to control rather than advance. GUIDO is trying to stand back up but Renard is controlling him
That's one minute gone in the round. Renard is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Renard stops GUIDO from standing up. GUIDO really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. GUIDO trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Renard shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. GUIDO is trying to defend but Renard finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Renard is just content to waste time from the top position. GUIDO takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. GUIDO is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. GUIDO keeping moving, preventing Renard from controlling successfully. GUIDO looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Renard controls from within his opponent's guard. GUIDO wants to hit a switch here but Renard passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for GUIDO there!
That's three minutes gone in the round. GUIDO wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
GUIDO is breathing heavily. GUIDO is squirming around, avoiding Renard's attempts to control the action. Renard working for a guillotine from mount but GUIDO is in no mood to give up. Renard working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. GUIDO is trying to escape the mount.
GUIDO throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Renard is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! GUIDO shoots and misses and Renard counters with a nice double leg into guard. Renard showing good wrestling skills to control the position. GUIDO wants to get back to his feet but Renard is in a dominant position and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brandon Renard dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Renard fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. GUIDO sprawls well initially but Renard persists and gets the takedown into half guard. GUIDO is trying to control but can't.
Renard uses his free foot to push down on GUIDO's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for GUIDO. GUIDO can't escape the position.
Renard scoring with strikes but GUIDO is staying in there. Renard is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Renard with a poor takedown and GUIDO decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Renard's guard. Renard keeping moving, preventing GUIDO from controlling successfully. Renard trying to keep a closed guard but GUIDO is proving a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Renard looking to hit a scissor sweep but GUIDO is one step ahead there. Renard is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Renard wants to improve his position but instead GUIDO has moved into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. GUIDO wants to control but Renard is keeping him busy. GUIDO thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. GUIDO shoots and misses and Renard counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. GUIDO tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Renard has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Renard looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. GUIDO is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Renard has control of GUIDO's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and GUIDO regains control of the situation pretty easily.
GUIDO wants to hold on but Renard pushes him away. Renard controlling the pace for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Renard cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
GUIDO is trying to escape the mount.
GUIDO tries to lock up and control but Renard gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Renard controlling from the full mount. Renard's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brandon Renard showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! GUIDO's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
GUIDO ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Renard moves away. GUIDO shoots and misses and Renard counters with a nice double leg into side control. GUIDO won't be happy with that. Renard stands up and beckons GUIDO to his feet. Renard circles away from the clinch attempt.
GUIDO closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Renard did well to prevent GUIDO getting side control. Renard is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but GUIDO pulls his head out easily. GUIDO seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Renard won't allow GUIDO to pass to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Renard is looking to escape. GUIDO takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Renard is refusing to be controlled, as GUIDO sits in half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Renard manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Renard is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. GUIDO won't allow Renard to sweep him here. Brandon Renard has got the better of the ground game so far. Renard is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. GUIDO looking to sit in guard and control but Renard gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. GUIDO is looking to stand up but Renard isn't so interested in that idea. Renard is stalling in the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Renard is pushing down on GUIDO's leg trying to pass to half guard. GUIDO is fighting to maintain full guard but Renard has managed to sneak the leg through. GUIDO wants to control but Renard is keeping busy and won't allow it. Renard trying to control the pace.

GUIDO is trying to maintain the position but Renard is very close to passing his half guard. Renard trying to mount his opponent but GUIDO defends it. GUIDO is trying to get back to full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Brandon Renard comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Renard winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
