Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hank Yorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Raider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raider is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Annoyning orange theme song. On his way into the cage it seems that Hank Yorn has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Hank Yorn seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hank Yorn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Shane Raider! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raider gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Raider lands a takedown into guard.
Yorn keeping full guard, as Raider tries to pass. Yorn has his foot on Raider's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Raider works his way back into a safe position though. Yorn utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Yorn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Raider can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Raider stands up over Yorn, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Yorn is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Raider scoring with some ground and pound. Raider tries to free his leg and advance position but Yorn is retaining full guard. Yorn wants to sweep here but Raider controlling him for the moment. Yorn is breathing heavily. Raider postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Raider is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Raider tries to free his leg and advance position but Yorn is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Raider got a little sloppy there for a moment and Yorn has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Raider has managed to get both his arms back between Yorn's legs - danger averted. Raider scoring with punches to the head and body. Raider keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Yorn's head. Yorn keeping full guard, as Raider tries to pass. Raider postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Yorn keeping full guard, as Raider tries to pass. Raider working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Yorn's head. Raider stands up over Yorn, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Raider wants to pass the guard but Yorn is keeping the position. Yorn might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Raider is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Raider scoring with punches to the head and body. Raider is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Yorn has a closed guard, preventing Raider from standing up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Raideris looking to pass into half guard but Yorn pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Yorn is in guard. Raider wants to sweep but no luck.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Yorn shoots in but Raider avoids the takedown attempt easily. Yorn fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Raider decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Raider trying to advance position but Yorn counters by regaining guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Raider working some strikes from top position. Yorn looking for a guillotine here but Raider defends easily.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Raider tries to stand but Yorn is controlling from the bottom. Raider missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Yorn is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Raider wants to get up but he can't break Yorn's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Yorn has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Yorn has momentary wrist control but Raider slips an elbow through the middle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yorn has a closed guard, preventing Raider from standing up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Raider accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Yorn with a poor takedown and Raider counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Yorn! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hank Yorn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Raider is in the full mount, landing strikes. Yorn tries to hold on but Raider pushes him away. Raider raining down shots from the mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yorn manages to regain half guard. Good work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Yorn trying to control from the bottom.
Yorn looking for submissions from an awkward position here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shane Raider dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Raider closes the distance and pushes Yorn back into the cage. Yorn tries to stall but Raider uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Raider drags the fight down to the ground.
Yorn won't allow Raider to get back to his feet. Yorn postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Raider is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Yorn, into his guard. Raider is working Yorn over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Raider wants to pass the guard but Yorn is keeping the position. Raider trying to stand up but can't free himself from Yorn's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Yorn working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Raider doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Raider manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's one minute gone in the round. Raider wanted to stand there but Yorn had control of the position. Yorn trying to control the position.
Raider makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Raider avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Raider stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yorn swivels though and keeps the full guard. Raider must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Raider throws a strike but Yorn rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Yorn being controlled here momentarily. Yorn content to stall in guard here. Raider wants to sweep but no luck.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yorn trying to control but Raider is working from the bottom. Shane Raider has got the better of the ground game so far. Yorn is stalling in the full guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Raider can do anything to dispel that myth. Yorn wants to control from the top but Raider keeps moving. Yorn looking to pass the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Raider lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Raider looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Raider is looking to advance position but Yorn won't allow it. Raider lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Raider trying to pass the guard but Yorn defending well. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Raider takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shane Raider showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Yorn shoots and misses and Raider counters by clinching up. Raider breaks from the clinch.
Raider changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Yorn looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Raider connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Yorn some visible discomfort.
Yorn is trying to get back to half guard. Yorn is pushing Raider's head away, looking to escape. Raider manages to hold on to the position though. Yorn is looking to regain half guard here but Raider keeps moving and retains side control. Raider lands a nice forearm strike. Raider avoids the strikes from the bottom by Yorn. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Yorn is looking for a sweep. Yorn is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Raider is working Yorn over with some ground and pound from side control. You can see the frustration on Yorn's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yorn sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Raider wants to free his trapped foot but Yorn is holding on for dear life with his legs. Yorn is trying to get back to full guard. Raider is pressing down on Yorn's thigh, looking to free his foot. Yorn is holding on for now. Raider scoring with strikes to the body and head. Yorn punching from the bottom.
Raider seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Raider closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Yorn wants to control but Raider postures up. Yorn is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Raider off and has taken his back!

Yorn gets his hands free as Raider looks to control. Raider is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Raider looking very determined here, making life difficult for Yorn.
Yorn working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Yorn is looking to control Raider but Raider is wriggling around and keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yorn gets his hands free as Raider looks to control. Yorn tightening his grip on Raider, looking for the choke. Raider is really stuck here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Yorn is looking to control Raider but Raider is wriggling around and keeping busy. Raider just looking to survive in the bad position. Raider really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yorn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Raider is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Yorn looking for the RNC. Yorn has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Shane Raider. Well Raider has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
