The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dirty swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dirty throws a right and a left that both miss.
Munk slips under a jab from Dirty.
Munk has a takedown stuffed.
Nice uppercut lands for Dirty. That snapped Munk's head back.

It looks like CP Munk has been cut.
Munk shoots in for a takedown but Dirty shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Munk shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dirty but Dirty pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for CP Munk. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dirty lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Munk at a distance.
Munk shoots in and drives through. Dirty sprawls well.
Munk looks to land a combination but Dirty avoids it well.
Munk is breathing heavily.

Dirty feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Munk sprawling to the canvas! Munk rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Dirty finish him?!

Munk is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dirty moves into range and clinches up with Munk.
Oh Munk is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dirty creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Munk with a big uppercut! Munk tries to clinch up but Dirty pushes him back against the cage and lands another moster strike that crumples Munk to the mat! Munk covers up and Dirty unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
