Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between SB Killa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drago Kozlov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kozlov has chosen Back in the USSR as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 15 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Drago Kozlov!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kozlov stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Killa.
Kozlov moves out of range as Killa throws a body kick.
Kozlov connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Killa's hands.
Good work by Kozlov as he checks the leg kick.
Killa lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Killa lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Kozlov shoots in for a takedown but Killa shows good takedown defense.

Killa clobbers Kozlov with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Killa does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Killa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Killa counters with a left and a right that stings Kozlov.

Kozlov shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

That was a close round but I would say that SB Killa will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

That was a close second round but I would say that SB Killa will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

It looks like Drago Kozlov has been cut.
Killa has a couple of punches blocked by Kozlov.
Kozlov tries to throw a body punch but Killa avoids it by throwing Kozlov back against the cage.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Killa.

Kozlov has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Killa regains guard immediately.
Kozlov wants to pass the guard but Killa is keeping the position.
Killa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Killa is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Well Kozlov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
