Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rogerio Carvalho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Livramento (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Livramento's choice of entrance music: Rootbeer - Under Control. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Emerson Jorge and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carvalho throws a body punch but Livramento moves out of range.
Carvalho connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
No luck for Livramento with that takedown attempt.

Carvalho swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Livramento is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Carvalho throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Livramento sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Carvalho lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A jab from Carvalho finds it's way through Livramento's defenses.

Carvalho jabs Livramento right on the nose. Livramento blinks but takes it well.

Carvalho uses his free foot to push down on Livramento's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Livramento.
