Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Grandmaster Yip Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Batista de Guia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yip Man comes to the cage accompanied by Everything in its right place- Radio Head. de Guia has chosen "Quilombo" by Soulfly as his entrance music. Grandmaster Yip Man has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Batista de Guia!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Leandro Rodrigues and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yip Man throws a jab but it's blocked by de Guia.
Yip Man connects with the punch.
Nice jab there from Yip Man.
de Guia wants to clinch up but Yip Man keeps it at a distance.
Yip Man really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The fight stays on the outside here - de Guia looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
de Guia moves away from the strike by Yip Man.
Yip Man scores with a body shot.
de Guia doesn't manage to clinch there - Yip Man circles away.
de Guia fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Yip Man, pushing him back against the cage.

Yip Man gets underhooks to prevent de Guia's takedown attempt.

de Guia throws an elbow but it misses.
de Guia tries for a takedown but Yip Man manages to get underhooks.

Yip Man looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
de Guia gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Yip Man pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
de Guia takes the fight into the clinch.
Yip Man wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
That's one minute gone in the round.
de Guia with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
de Guia tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Yip Man avoids it.

de Guia is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Yip Man gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Grandmaster Yip Man has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Batista de Guia.
de Guia looking to throw knees to the head but Yip Man is blocking nicely.
de Guia jumps guard but Yip Man stands there with de Guia around his waist. de Guia gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
de Guia tries a knee to the head but Yip Man blocks it.

de Guia looks gassed!
de Guia manages to break the clinch.
de Guia moves in looking to clinch but Yip Man pushes him off.
Yip Man lands a jab-cross combination.
Yip Man slaps away a takedown attempt from de Guia, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A head kick misses from de Guia.
Yip Man scores with a jab to the head.
de Guia doesn't manage to clinch there - Yip Man circles away.
Yip Man ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Yip Man lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
de Guia is rocked!
de Guia drops his hands momentarily. Yip Man doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. de Guia staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. de Guia doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Grandmaster Yip Man!
