Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pate Perhana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stig Tuuri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pate Perhana! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Stig Tuuri! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perhana works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Perhana keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Perhana fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Perhana misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Perhana drives through with a takedown into guard. Perhana postures up in Tuuri's guard and throws a big left but Tuuri blocks it. Tuuri wants to sweep here but Perhana controlling him for the moment. Perhana wants to control from the top but Tuuri keeps moving. Tuuri wants to stand and escape but Perhana is having none of it. Perhana pushes down on Tuuri's leg and manages to get into half guard. Perhana is looking for a kimura here.
Perhana seems to be looking for submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perhana takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Perhana trying to control the action but Tuuri is working from the bottom. Perhana content to control rather than advance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tuuri is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Perhana pulls his head out easily. Tuuri wants to get back to his feet. Tuuri is in trouble now - Perhana has advanced to mount! Tuuri bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Perhana trying to keep a closed guard but Tuuri is proving a slippery customer.
Perhana wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Perhana wants to sweep but no luck. Tuuri wants to stand but Perhana is controlling his posture from full guard. Tuuri must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Perhana wriggles free and stands up. Perhana throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Tuuri was covering up waiting for the punch and Perhana finishes the takedown easily into guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Perhana postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Tuuri is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tuuri working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Perhana. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tuuri isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Perhana stacks Tuuri on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Perhana! Perhana scores with punches from side control. Tuuri is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Perhana wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tuuri keeps working. Perhana cracks Tuuri with an elbow. That is naaassty. Perhana landing strikes. Perhana is looking to take a break and control but Tuuri is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Perhana is chipping away with strikes.
Perhana has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tuuri is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Perhana looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Perhana trying to control the position but Tuuri is working away. Perhana is chipping away with strikes.
Perhana tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Perhana has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Perhana has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Tuuri is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Perhana yanks on the arm and Tuuri is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Perhana.
