Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Smith.
It looks like Rashad jacksson has been cut.
jacksson slips a jab and a cross from Smith.
Smith fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with jacksson, pushing him back against the cage.
Smith gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from jacksson.
Smith wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but jacksson has him pressed against the cage.
jacksson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Smith breaks the clinch.
Smith looks to land a combination. jacksson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Smith throws a push kick but jacksson slaps the foot to one side.
jacksson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Smith's waist but Smith gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing jacksson off to one side.

Smith is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

jacksson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Smith is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of jacksson, into his guard.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for jacksson. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Smith decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Smith connects with a nice short shot to jacksson's temple.

Well Smith has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
