The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cage pushes Aliyev up against the cage in a clinch.
Cage looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Nice elbow from Aliyev.
Cage takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like Cannon Cage has been cut.
Aliyev tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Aliyev scores with a knee to the head.
Aliyev comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Aliyev breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Aliyev fakes the leg kick and cracks Cage in the body.
Aliyev drives through with a takedown into guard.
Cage trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Aliyev works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Aliyev seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Cage is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
