Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chad Wagner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Sullyvan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wagner comes to the cage accompanied by Motorhead - Deaf forever. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chad Wagner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Johnny Sullyvan! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sullyvan connects with a nice looking jab.
It looks like Chad Wagner has been cut. Sullyvan takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Sullyvan misses with a wild body shot. Wagner misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sullyvan throws a hook but Wagner blocks it. Wagner moves out of range of the leg kick from Sullyvan. Johnny Sullyvan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wagner will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Wagner lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Johnny Sullyvan has been cut. Sullyvan misses with a looping right. Sullyvan jabbing away but nothing is landing. Sullyvan looks to land a left hand but Wagner moved out of range nicely. Sullyvan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wagner. Sullyvan misses with a body punch
and Wagner counters with a stiff right hand. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sullyvan misses with a looping left. Sullyvan scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Sullyvan misses with a low kick.

That's one minute gone in the round. No joy there for Sullyvan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sullyvan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wagner circles away quickly and effectively. Wagner steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sullyvan. Wagner scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Sullyvan with a body punch. A glancing blow. Sullyvan throws a predictable looking body shot
and Sullyvan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. A combination from Sullyvan does no damage. Wagner works Sullyvan's body with a nice hook. Wagner displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sullyvan throws out the jab. Wagner gets the takedown into side control. Wagner advances to full mount. Sullyvan looks gassed! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sullyvan sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sullyvan can do anything to dispel that myth. Wagner is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wagner not doing much here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wagner is working for a kimura but Sullyvan is defending it quite comfortably.
Sullyvan wants to get back to full guard but Wagner has mounted him!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sullyvan's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Wagner wants to control the pace but Sullyvan is squirming around nicely. Wagner content just to control the position here. Wagner trying to control but Sullyvan is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Wagner moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Sullyvan has worked his arm free - good work by Sullyvan!
Wagner tries to move into full mount but can't pass Sullyvan's legs. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wagner trying to control the action but Sullyvan is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chad Wagner dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's time! Wagner's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Sullyvan throws a jab but it's blocked by Wagner. Wagner takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Sullyvan misses with a looping right. Wagner staying out of range there. Wagner misses with a straight right. Wagner looks to land a right hand but Sullyvan moved out of range. Sullyvan throws a left and a right that both miss
and Wagner counters with a lovely shot to the body. Wagner swings away with a leg kick that misses. Wagner takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sullyvan lands a left and a right that send Wagner crashing to the mat, dazed. Sullyvan thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Wagner is rocked!
Chad Wagner's cut is getting worse. Wagner fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Sullyvan bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Wagner's head. Oh Wagner is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Wagner misses with a few strikes there.
Wagner seems to have got his legs back now. Sullyvan pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Wagner!
That's one minute gone in the round. Sullyvan lands a jab. Sullyvan throws out a leg kick but Wagner moves out of range and Sullyvan only half commits. Sullyvan throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Wagner to counter with a crisp jab. Wagner throws a series of punches but Sullyvan avoids them all with ease. Wagner slips under a jab. Sullyvan moves out of range of the strikes. Wagner takes a shot to the body in his stride.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wagner takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. A combination from Sullyvan does no damage. Sullyvan misses with a looping left. Sullyvan waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Wagner. Sullyvan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Sullyvan looks to throw the jab but Wagner is out of range. Chad Wagner is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sullyvan misses with a series of wild punches.

Chad Wagner's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Sullyvan fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Sullyvan swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Wagner counters with a straight right hand. Wagner shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sullyvan sprawls well. Sullyvan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wagner gets slowly back to his feet. Wagner throws a combination that misses and Sullyvan counters with a stiff right hand. Wagner is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Wagner takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Sullyvan throws a lazy right hand but Wagner sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wagner lands with a nice body punch. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Sullyvan. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Wagner throws a hook but Sullyvan blocks it. Wagner slips under a jab. Sullyvan misses with a combination
and Wagner makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Sullyvan is breathing heavily. Sullyvan lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Jeez, Chad Wagner's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Wagner bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Sullyvan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wagner gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. A telegraphed right hand from Sullyvan misses the target. Sullyvan throws a body punch but Wagner moves out of range. Sullyvan uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Wagner. Sullyvan dodges the punch combination from Wagner.
Sullyvan misses with an uppercut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sullyvan shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. A swing and a miss from Sullyvan. Wagner keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sullyvan. Wagner gets cracked there but stands up to it.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Chad Wagner's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
